Book of the Month

May is Mental Health Awareness month and I can’t think of a better book recommendation for it. “Running is My Therapy” is a personal and in-depth look at the parallels between why we run and why we feel better when we run. Have you walked out the door feeling miserable and you come in feeling better? Ever have a problem rattling around in your head when you leave the house only to find the answer when you return?

This book gives you the science of why as well as personal anecdotes from someone who struggles with addiction and mental health issues and how running can balance you. Scott is from the area and was the editor for Running Times and also co-wrote the New York Times best-selling book Meb for Mortals. The book is available here at the shop and online.
