I have to admit, I was a little bummed to have to bust out a long sleeve shirt for a run last week. I love running in the fall, but I’ll miss the longer days and short sleeves! While it’s still glorious weather, we have tons of great runs and events planned that we hope everyone can attend. Fall is one of the best seasons for long leisurely runs, so take a peek below at all of the upcoming runs and events. This week alone, we have two free running events and the big Oyster Stroll on Main Street. We also have our biggest fall event is this year at the Baltimore Expo just before the Baltimore marathon. For that event, we are partnering up with our friends at Altra Running, and we plan to have some great deals available. Stop by Booth 24 next Thursday or Friday and take advantage of some big sales, and to check out some of the cool vendors at the race. We would love to see a lot of local friends representing Run Moore so swing by and tell us about your plans for the big day.
Also, a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote the Best of Carroll award. Thanks to your support we won the Best Sporting Goods Store in the county! We have been so fortunate over the years to be recognized in this competitive competition it is not easy going against fellow local businesses and big box stores. We know that we have the best customers, and it made me so proud to share the news with the team last week. No doubt, in a couple of months, we will be bugging you for votes to be one of the Best Running Stores in the USA again!
