It’s #mondaymotivation with our pal and Ambassador, Shane Cox. He inspires and wows me every time we chat. The next time you bump into Shane out on the road or at a run you should chat him up. I promise you’ll be moved…🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever received with respect to running has prepared me for all kinds of situations. Boston Marathon in a Nor’easter? No problem. Trail 1/2 on a rainy, muddy day? Bring it!

Your training plan doesn’t care about the weather. Neither do your shoes, your running watch, or your clothes. They will survive just fine – and so will you. As long as it’s safe, get out and run. It doesn’t matter if it’s raining, snowing, cold, windy, hot, or humid.

Learn to run in all kinds of weather because race day is unpredictable. You’ll be better prepared and have an edge knowing that you’ve done it before.

Who knows, maybe you’ll even learn to love it like I do. Get back the feeling you had as a kid stomping through mud puddles in the rain! Trust me, the dirt washes out and your clothes and shoes dry just fine. And you’ll be ready on race day no matter what Mother Nature throws at you.

My month as a Run Moore #IRunMoore Ambassador has been a blast. Thank you all for following along; hopefully you’ve enjoyed it. I hope to see you all at a Run Moore Pub Run or the store – until then, run strong and Run Moore!
