Hello friends! I am honored and excited to introduce myself to you as the first Community Ambassador for the Run Moore family. My name is Jenny Brower and I have been a resident of Carroll County for 31 years. I am a small business owner in the community, mommy to the greatest 2 year old and lucky to be married to my best friend, Eric. Running has become a constant staple in my life over the last 11 years.
I watched my cousin fall in love with the sport during his high school career. It felt like he was doing impossible things. Running seemed like something ‘other’ people were good at, until I decided to give her a go. It quickly became my therapy. 🏃♀️ Running doesn’t discriminate! You can run a 6 minute mile or a 13 minute mile but you’re still doing it! I, unlike most runners, prefer to run solo. I love clicking away miles while daydreaming about outrageous things, and organizing my thoughts for the day.
Although, this quiet time is now shared with a stroller and my greatest cheer leader; nothing makes me smile harder than finishing a long run, crossing a finish line or just celebrating a quick morning 5k. I’m lucky to have become addicted to the runner’s high!
